WoW Druid Feral Combat Cat
Druids investing their talent points into the Feral combat talent tree do this to enhance their basic animal forms dealing with physical combat: the cat- and the bear-form. Both forms are roughly modeled after other classes, the cat after the Rogue and the bear after the Protection Warrior.
The talent distribution in this tree makes it almost impossible to excel at both specializations, cat and bear, and so a player has to make up his mind which one of the two he is willing to chose. The reasons for this need to chose is the lower part of the Restoration tree where some very nice talents for a Feral Druid are located. Up to 19 talents can be spent there, leaving very few points for both specs in the Feral Combat tree.
Just like the Moonkin the Cat Druid brings some very nice raid buffs and debuffs. For once he increases the critical strike chance of melee and ranged attacks by 5% and, if talented, every character scoring a critical hit will heal himself for a small amount of health. At the same time a Cat Druid can apply a debuff to an enemy target that increases bleed damage taken by a whopping 30%, which is a huge buff especially for Rogues and Warriors. Naturally a Cat Druid is able to apply Faerie Fire to a target, reducing its armor. Gift of the Wild provides an armor and stat boost for the own group.
